Romanian tourists: Bosra Al-Sham is one of the most beautiful tourist areas in the East

Daraa, (ST) –  A tourist group from Romania, including doctors, engineers, teachers, company managers and retirees, visited the ancient city of Bosra Al-Sham in Daraa to see the beauty and grandeur of its historical and cultural monuments.

In statements to SANA, Gariel Luca, the Director of a tourism company, considered that the importance of the city comes from the multiplicity of civilizations that succeeded it, and the continuous interest of those concerned with the tourism sector in following up on the ongoing rehabilitation, restoration, maintenance and cleaning work.

He pointed out that his company will work to promote and organize visits by tourist delegations to the ancient city.

Dr. Karina Kouris said: “Bosra is one of the most beautiful tourist areas in the East. Its landmarks are of wonderful value, combining art, literature and religions. They embody the wonderful development for those nations”.

Foster Lavigne, a teacher, praised the generosity and hospitality of the Syrian people, wishing normal life to return to Syria and the crisis ends soon.

The engineer, Claudia Mario considered that the ruins of Bosra represent the gateway to the East and the cradle of civilizations, and the most beautiful thing about them is the engineering methods through which the amphitheater and theater were built, which indicates the extent of scientific progress of those nations.

In turn, the Head of the Bosra Al-Sham City Council, Suleiman Al-Shahma affirmed that all workers in the tourism and service sector are fully prepared to provide all comfort and safety requirements for the delegations coming to the city and they continue working on a daily basis to preserve the archaeological sites to highlight the cultural image of Syria and the richness of its archaeological and heritage sites.
