Syria’s permanent representative to Arab League, Ambassador Hossam El-Din Ala, condemned the ongoing Israeli genocide war on Gaza Strip, which left thousands of martyrs and wounded and hundreds of thousands of displaced people, in addition to the huge destruction that affected the whole Strip and other Palestinian cities.

Ambassador Ala warned of the consequences of the Israeli occupation resort to escalating  the aggression on Syrian and Lebanese territories and targeting civilians, facilities and diplomatic headquarters.

Syria’s permanent representative to the League of Arab States called on the participants to continue working to confront the Israeli entity and hold it accountable for its crimes and violations of international law, due to US and Western support.

Ambassador Ala called on the participants in the forum to support the efforts of the Syrian state in recovery and the transition towards development and reconstruction, in a way that contributes to strengthening the steadfastness of the Syrian people and facilitating the return of refugees and displaced persons to their areas.
