Al-Mikdad meets with State Secretary of the Czech Foreign Ministry Radek Rubeš

Damascus, (ST) -Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad on Tuesday met with the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Radek Rubeš and discussed with him strengthening bilateral relations as to meet the aspirations of the Czech and Syrian peoples, noting the role of these ties in conveying the true image about the situation in Syria to other countries.

Al-Mikdad stressed that the Syrian government highly appreciates the assistance and development projects the Czech Republic provides to Syria as they contributed to alleviating the repercussions of the terrorist war that Syria has been exposed to.

For his part, Rubeš reiterated the need to enhance consultations between the governments of the two countries as to  clarify the reality of the situation in Syria and the political developments in the region, which will strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
