Jaafari : Resolving the Crisis in Syria can only be through National Efforts

NEWYORK,(ST)_ Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Dr. Bashar Jaafari, stressed that the Syrian government is open to all initiatives aimed to reach a political solution to the crisis.

Jaafari added that the Syrian government has positively engaged in Geneva conference 2 and agreed the proposed draft agenda in order to move forward in this process, which will discuss the item renouncing violence and ending terrorism, stressing that the Syrian government reiterated  willingness to cooperate with UN organizations for the delivery of aid to the needy in all Syrian affected areas without discrimination.

He stressed that the solution to the crisis in Syria can only be the fruit of national and honest efforts of the Syrians themselves away from the Saudi, Turkey and Qatari ” Jihad of thugs “.

He indicated that the recent national reconciliation processes in Syria, sent a powerful message to the whole world that the Syrians are able to solve their crisis by themselves, independently away from any external manipulation of their national interests.

He stressed that the Syrian government has taken a number of administrative and logistic procedures which enabled UN agencies and programs and international humanitarian organizations  to expand the scope of their activity.

Jaafari pointed out that, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey are financing the Wahhabi terrorists,

 ” Israel” treat them in its hospitals and the department of Peacekeeping Operations is watching.
