Shurta first in Judo Championship

DAMASCUS,(ST)_The national judo championship (man and youth )has wrapped up activities at the Faiha sports complex in Damascus.

Approximately 120 athletes from the following provinces :Damascus and its countryside,Quneitra,Suwaida,Lattakia,Homs,Tartous ,Hama plus Jaish ,shurta and Talaba clubs took part in the said event.

Results in full:

60 kilos:SuleimanRifai,Jaish.

66 kilos:FadiDarwish,Shurta.

73 kilos,OdaiMawirdi,Jaish.

81 kilos:MohammadQassim,Shurta.

90 kilos:MithqalJirmani,Jaish.

100 kilos:AliSalihShurta.

Above 100 kilos:YihyaHasaba ,Shurta.

Free weight:YusufMunayer,Shurta.

With these results,Shurta came first in the overall standings .Followed by Jaish while the third place went to Quneitra.
