Minister of Tourism and Charge d’Affaires of the Chilean Embassy in Damascus discuss prospects of tourism cooperation
Minister of tourism Rami Mohamed Martini and the Charge d’Affaires of the Chilean Embassy in Damascus Jose Patricio Bricley discussed prospects of cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries.
Bricley expressed his admiration over the tourism potentials in Syria and the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage, especially in the field of handcrafts, expressing the importance of Dummar Heritage Incubator project which embraced small and micro-sized enterprises, the protection of the heritage profession and transfer of these skills across generations.
During the meeting, the two sides talked about the possibility of marketing these products by displaying them in the Republic of Chile, especially since many Chilean citizens have Syrian origins.
