Mansour: The Security Council’s failure to grant Palestine full membership will not make it give up its right to its territory

The permanent representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, stressed that the failure of the UN Security Council to grant the state of Palestine full membership in the United Nations will not break the will of the Palestinian people, will not discourage or defeat its resolve and will not make it give up its right to its land. The state of Palestine is “An Existing Inevitability”.

Mansour said in his speech after the Security Council session, according to WAFA News Agency,” The membership of the state of Palestine in the United Nations is not a symbolic matter. It is extremely important for the Palestinians and the peoples of the region at this delicate stage. It is a dedication to the legitimacy of the state of Palestine in an irreversible way by any party, and the protection and preservation of its land so that land is not gifted or divided as remnants as happened.”

Mansour stressed that the right of self-determination should not be subjected to any domination by “Israel”, the occupying power, which practices ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Palestinian people in order to expel them from their land, eliminate their identity, replace their past and heritage, eradicate their civilization and blockade their future.
