President Al-Assad receives congratulations from kings and presidents of Arab and foreign coyntries on the occasion of Evacuation Day

Damascus, (ST)- On the occasion of the seventy-eighth anniversary of Evacuation Day, President Bashar Al-Assad received congratulatory cables from leaders and presidents of brotherly Arab and friendly foreign countries, in which they offered congratulations and best wishes to the Syrians for progress and prosperity.

The leaders stressed their keenness to continue working to strengthen and develop the existing cooperation relations between their countries and Syria.

President al-Assad received telegrams from Vladimir Putin, President of the Federal Republic of Russia, from Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, from Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and from the Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, from President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, from the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, from King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of Jordan.

President Al-Assad also received congratulatory cables from the Pope of the Vatican, Pope Francis, from Draupadi Murmu, President of the Republic of India, and the President of the Democratic Republic of Korea. Kim Jong-un, from Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, from Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, from Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, from Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, from the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, General Min Aung Hlaing, and from Santia Peña, President of the Republic of Paraguay, Daniel Ortega, President of the Republic of Nicaragua, and from Võ Thị Ánh Xuân,  the acting president of  Vietnam, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazauni, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.

President Al-Assad also received congratulatory cables from Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, the UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the Presidential Cabinet, from the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, from Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, and from the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
