On Evacuation Day Anniversary, People in the occupied Syrian Golan reaffirm that Golan is an integral part of Syria

The occupied Syrian Golan, (ST) – The people in the occupied Syrian Golan reaffirmed that the Golan was and will remain a Syrian Arab land, and an integral part of Syria. They stressed that the victory is near with the strength and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.

The people of the Golan said in a statement today on the 78th anniversary of Evacuation Day: “Today we commemorate the 78th anniversary of the evacuation of the last French soldier from the pure land of Syria, which was baptized with the blood of its heroic martyrs over many decades. Syria, to this day, is still defending its Arabism and its unity.”

The statement said: “We are commemorating the anniversary today, and the Golan has been under an arrogant occupier for 58 years. This occupier aims to undermine the power of the people of Golan and Judaize the land and the Syrian people”.

“The people in the Golan are still resisting the occupation in defense of their land, their Syrian Arab identity and their authentic affiliation,” the statement added.

The statement continued: “Today, on the dear anniversary of the Evacuation, which was written with the blood of more than a thousand martyrs of the people of the occupied Golan against the French occupation, we affirm that a history that was written with the blood of our ancestors, and an identity that was established by the sacrifices of the fathers and the steadfastness of children, we will not give it up, no matter how long the occupation lasts.

The statement also said that the evacuation of terrorists and occupiers is inevitable thanks to the determination and sacrifices of the protectors of the homland, the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army.
