The Palestine Liberation Army: Syria’s strength is force for Palestine’s people, and resistance

The Chief of Staff of the Palestine Liberation Army confirmed that Syria’s strength and resistance reinforces  the  strength for Palestine, its people, and its resistance.

In a statement on the occasion of the seventy-eighth anniversary of Independence Day, the Chief of Staff of the Palestine Liberation Army said: This great independence was the beginning of a new phase for building the modern, independent, sovereign state and for Syria to restore its leading national role in confronting the colonial projects and plans that target our Arab nation, especially the Zionist settlement project.

The statement said that the defeat of the French colonizers from the land of Syria came after years of revolutions and processions of great martyrs.

The statement explained that proud Syria provided, over the decades, all forms of support for the steadfastness and resistance of our Palestinian Arab people to truly and effectively complete the nation’s freedom and dignity.

The statement stressed that the steadfastness, heroism and sacrifices achieved by our Palestinian Arab people in the valiant Gaza Strip and in Palestine in general are victories that confirm the correctness of the resistance approach and its ability to humiliate the enemy and put it before difficult choices to force it to submit to the will of truth and justice.

The statement considered that the Iranian response to the crimes of the Zionist entity came as a legitimate right to self-defense after the failure of international organizations and the international community to perform their role in maintaining international peace and security.
