Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard carries out strikes on Zionist enemy’s sites in occupied Palestine

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard late Saturday launched intensive missile and drone attacks against Israeli targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.

“In response to the many crimes of the Zionist entity, including the attack on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus which led to the martyrdom of Iranian military commanders and advisors, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s air force hit specific Israeli targets inside the occupied territories using dozens of missiles and drones,” the Revolutionary Guard said in a statement.

The Command of the IRGC pointed out that the operation was approved by the Higher Council of the Iranian National Security and carried out under the supervision of the Iranian General Army Staff and with the support of the Ministry of Defense.

Iranian Defense Minister warned that any country that opens its airspace or territory to attack Iran will receive Iran’s decisive response.

Iraq and Jordan announced the closure of their airspace and the cessation of air traffic until further notice.

Lebanon also announced the closure of its airspace to all incoming, departing and transiting aircraft temporarily and as a precaution until Sunday morning, provided that this will be updated and reviewed according to developments.

Media outlets reported that sirens sounded in northern occupied Palestine, and explosions were heard in Galilee.

The Israeli media reported that a state of hysteria prevailed among the settlers while they were waiting for the Iranian response.

The Iranian official News Agency  (IRNA) reported that an Israeli military spokesman has also confirmed that the missiles and drones were fired from Iran and said that the Zionist entity has put its anti-missile systems on alert.

Iran had already pledged to punish the Zionist entity for its deadly aggression against the country’s diplomatic mission in Syria in violation of the international law and Vienna conventions.
