Israeli settler gangs close entrances to two towns northeast of Ramallah

The Israeli settler gangs, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, closed the entrances to the towns of Silwad and Turmus’aya in the occupied West Bank province of Ramallah this morning, attacking passing Palestinian vehicles.

Local sources reported that dozens of settlers closed the western entrances of Silwad and Turmus’aya towns and attacked vehicles belonging to Palestinian citizens with stones to prevent them from entering or leaving the towns.

Yesterday, the neighboring villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah witnessed a large-scale attack by Israeli settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of a young Palestinian and the injury of dozens others as well as massive damage in property.

Palestinian Presidency warns of the danger of Israeli settlers’ continued attacks on Palestinians in West Bank

Spokesman of the Palestinian Presidency Nabil Abu Rudieneh on Friday warned of the danger of the continued crimes committed by the Israeli colonist settlers against Palestinian people and property in the occupied West Bank.

Abu Rudieneh was referring to the latest settlers’ attack that took place in the village of Al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah, which resulted in the killing of a Palestinian youth and caused injuries to 18 others.

He held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for such crimes as instead of preventing the colonist settlers, it joined them in attacking Palestinians and their property, according to WAFA News Agency.

Abu Rudieneh denounced the brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of more than 33,000 people, the majority of whom were children and women.

He also expressed his condemnation of the large-scale home raids and searches in the West Bank and East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the attacks on Islamic and Christian sanctities.

The presidential spokesman called for urgent international intervention, especially by the U.S administration, to oblige the occupation authorities to stop their crimes.

He further held the U.S administration responsible for this escalation and demanded that it acts immediately to force Israel to stop its brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
