Russian air defences destroy 12 Ukrainian drones that tried to target southwest of Russia

٥Moscow (ST) – Russian air defences shot down 12 drones launched by Ukrainian forces on 5 Russian provinces and the Republic of Mordovia in the southwest of the country.

RT website quoted the Russian Ministry of Defence as saying today: “The Ukrainian forces attempted to target Russian territories with terrorist attacks using drones.”

The Ministry stressed that the air defences responded to these attempts, shooting down 3 drones over Kursk Province, 3 drones over Tambov Province, two drones over Belgorod, one drone over Bryansk, and one drone over Lipetsk, in addition to two drones that attempted to target the Republic of Mordovia.

Yesterday, Russian air defences destroyed 5 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Bryansk Province.
