Beirut, (ST) – Last night, the Israeli occupation enemy escalated its attacks on south Lebanon, as its warplanes bombed an inhabited house in the town of Sultaniya, which led to the martyrdom of three people and the injury of others.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the attack caused severe damage to property and homes adjacent to the targeted house, which is located in a residential area, as more than 10 families lost their homes, and civil and official health institutions and civil defense continued to remove rubble until this morning.
Israeli reconnaissance warplanes intensified their sorties and fired flare bombs at night over the Lebanese border villages in the western and central sectors. They also targeted, with heavy machinegun fire, the main street adjacent to the border near the towns of Ramiya and Aita Al-Shaab.
