The new Irish Prime Minister: What is happening in the Gaza Strip is terrible

Dublin, (ST) – The new Irish Prime Minister, Simon Harris on Sunday affirmed that what the Zionist entity is doing to the Palestinian people in Gaza is terrible. He called for an immediate ceasefire in the Strip.

AP quoted Harris as saying: What we are witnessing in Gaza and the actions of “Israel” are completely heinous things.

He added: “These actions are terrible and shameful, as we see children having their limbs amputated or being killed. This is something that should stop, describing at the same time the targeting of aid workers in Gaza “horrific and terrible”.

It is expected that the Irish Parliament will officially appoint Simon Harris to his position on Tuesday, succeeding Leo Varadkar who resigned suddenly last March, a year before the scheduled date of the legislative elections.
