UNRWA: 62% of homes destroyed during Israel’s ongoing aggression against Gaza Strip

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that Israel’s ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip since October has caused the destruction of about 62 percent of homes in the Strip.

“Critical infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, including UNRWA’s facilities and buildings housing displaced families, was also attacked,” the agency said in a post on its X-platform account today.

It pointed out that more than 75 percent of the Strip’s residents are now displaced, and the majority of them have been displaced several times, wondering when this will end.

UNRWA confirmed yesterday that 176 of its employees have been tragically killed since the beginning of the war on Gaza by the occupying forces as a result of heavy shelling targeting homes, facilities, infrastructure and shelter centers.
