Mass rally in Moscow on Land Day in solidarity with Palestine and in denunciation of the Israeli aggression against Syria
In commemoration of 48th anniversary of Land Day, the Russian capital Moscow witnessed yesterday a large mass rally in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are exposed to genocide by the Israeli occupation entity in front of the eyes of the entire world, and in denunciation of the Israeli aggression that targeted the headquarters of the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
In their speeches during the event held in the courtyard of the Palestinian Embassy in Moscow, the participants stressed that this year’s event to commemorate Land Day coincides with the humanitarian catastrophe that the Palestinian people are experiencing in light of an unprecedented attack by the Israeli enemy which has resulted in tens of thousands of martyrs and massive destruction of infrastructure, including hospitals and schools, in addition to targeting United Nations institutions and humanitarian organizations.
The participants explained that the Israeli enemy with the absolute support of the US and the western countries, commits daily all types of systematic killing and destruction not only within the occupied Palestinian terrorists, but also expands its aggression to include Syria and Lebanon, including the cowardly attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
They demanded the complete withdrawal of “Israel” from all the occupied Arab territories in Palestine, the Syrian Golan and southern Lebanon, and an end to its violations of international conventions and norms that have continued over decades, renewing full support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and their great sacrifices.
The participants pointed out that the event of this anniversary this year also coincides with the presidential elections in the Russian Federation and the re-election of President Putin for a new term with a high percentage of votes, which will inevitably lead to a new international vision and the establishment of a new, more just world order for oppressed peoples.
The participants strongly condemned the treacherous terrorist act that recently targeted the Crocus Mall in Moscow, which claimed large numbers of civilian casualties, stressing that Russia will overcome this ordeal and put an end to terrorism and its sponsors.
Ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to the Russian Federation, official of the Russian Foreign Ministry, representatives of the State Duma, representatives of the Palestinian Imperial Orthodox Society, the Al Quds Committee, social, cultural, religious and media figures, and representatives of Arab communities in the Russian capital participated in the event.
