President Al-Assad offers condolences to President Raisi over victims of the Israeli attack on Iranian Consulate in Damascus

President Bashar Al-Assad on Tuesday made a phone call to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during which he offered his deepest condolences on the martyrdom of a number of Iranian military advisors in the Israeli brutal attack that targeted the Iranian Consulate in Damascus yesterday.

President Al-Assad expressed his deep condolences and sympathy with the families of the victims and with the Iranian people over this great loss.

He stressed that targeting the headquarters of a diplomatic mission in a crowded area by the Zionist entity is not surprising, as this entity was built on killing, bloodshed, displacement and looting, pointing out that the genocide war and the massacres that have been continuing in Gaza for more than 6 months are the clearest evidence of this entity’s barbarity.
