After shining locally… Samra Al-Naddaf aspires to international level in Muay Thai

Damascus-(ST)- A combination of magic in her performance, speed, agility and strength, her most prominent qualities when she is in the Muay Thai fight rings. She is the talented Samra Al-Naddaf, who was able to climb the podiums at the local level, and her ambition is to join the ranks of the national team to represent Syria in foreign forums.

In a statement to SANA, the 17-year-old player, Al-Naddaf, said that she chose this game with the encouragement of her family in addition to her studies, keeping in mind an ambition to climb podiums and win colorful medals in Arab, Asian and international championships.

Al-Naddaf indicated that she won various medals, gold, silver, and bronze, in the provincial and republican championships, noting  that foreign participation increases the player’s experience and contact with various combat schools, and this is what happened to her during her participation in the international championship that was held last year in Libya.

In turn, coach Amjad Hishmeh explained that the player Al-Naddaf is characterized by high technical skills and a quick wit, which makes her outperform the opponent during the fight.She was crowned with the Republic Championship title three times in a row.

‘Muay Thai’ or ‘“Thai boxing ‘ is an art that  constitutes attacking the opponent.It  was invented in the sixteenth century. It requires high physical and mental fitness, and the player has the right to use the hands, elbows, legs, and knees.
