Tourists from Switzerland, China and Russia visit the Syrian archeological city of Bosra Al-Sham

Tourist groups comprising Swiss, Chinese and Russian tourists have visited the Syrian city of Bosra Al-Sham in Daraa to see its archeological sites and be briefed on its history. The tourists greatly admired the architecture of the ancient sites of the city.

Fabian Rushu, a Swiss student, told a SANA reporter that his visit to Bosra is a scientific gain that would enhance his study of archeology and strengthen his ability to study all aspects of history and compare between ancient and modern history.

For his part, Drushan Rusping, a Swiss painter, said that the archeological sites have an artistic dimension that makes him draw a unique reality and document these archeological cities.

Elina Christoph, a Russian specialist in tourism, noted the need to increase mutual trips between Syria and Russia to boost cultural exchange. He hoped that Syria will restore security and stability and its key position on the world tourism map after the crisis ends.
