Beirut (ST) – Seven paramedics were martyred as a result of a hostile Israeli air strike that targeted an emergency center in the village of Al-Habbariyeh, south of Lebanon, at dawn today.

Lebanese media outlets quoted the Lebanese Ambulance Association as saying in a statement that a raid targeted a building in Hebbariyeh used by the Emergency and Relief Service, which is under its supervision, adding: “We consider this attack as a heinous crime by all standards, and a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions, and we hold the party that committed this crime fully responsible.”

An official in the association said that more than ten paramedics were at the emergency center when it was targeted, noting that bodies were recovered from under the rubble.

The Israeli enemy continues its attacks on various Lebanese regions, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, in addition to the destruction of dozens of homes and causing severe damage to infrastructure.
