Thousands of people in South Africa demonstrate in solidarity with Gaza
Johannesburg (ST) – Thousands of people in South Africa rallied in solidarity with the stricken Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to brutal Israeli aggression since last October 7.
Local media reported that thousands of people marched to the city of Cape Town for a distance of 41 km, which is a distance that represents the length of Gaza, to demand a ceasefire in the Stripe.
Thousands of people from 20 countries and 160 cities gathered in the march to participate in this event for solidarity with Palestine.
The participants, who raised the Palestinian flag, called for an end to the Israeli aggression.
