Syrian Equestrian Muhammad Jobrani won the Grand Prix of the twenty-eighth Al-Wafa Show Jumping Tournament, which concluded its activities on Monday at Al-Basel Equestrian Club in Al-Dimas area in Damascus countryside after four days of competition.
Jobrani won the title after ranking first in the final match of the 145 cm height of upper category, which was held in two asymmetric rounds.
Equestrian Laith Al-Ali came in the second place, and the equestrian Sham Al-Assad came in third place.
The small grand prix went to Mohammad Al-Ba’li after ranking first in the final round for the Medium Tour with a jump of 130 cm, while Equestrian Joseph Mirza won the first place in the final of the Small Tour with a jump of 120 cm.
The competition course designer Mazen Bayram hailed the equestrians’ skills, noting the importance of this tournament, as one of the most important show jumping events locally.
A number of equestrians underlined the strength of the competition in all categories in the tournament, which is held according to international standards and with tracks designed with highly technical methods.
