Russia is observing a national day of mourning today for the victims of the terrorist attack in the Crocus Mall, as citizens flocked to the site of the attack since early morning to lay flowers.
Crowds of citizens lit candles in front of the mall , and placed some mementos in front of the temporary memorial to the victims who fell in the terrorist attack last Friday evening.
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Sunday, March the 24th is a day of national mourning in the country for the victims of the terrorist attack, stressing that all those involved in it will receive inevitable punishment.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry announced in its latest toll that 133 people were killed and 152 people were injured in the Crocus terrorist attack on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, noting that rubble removal operations are still continuing.
