Human rights activists demand suspending US arms exports to Israel
A number of human rights activists sent emails to US President Joe Biden and members of Congress urging them to immediately suspend all new arms export permits to Israel.
Wafa Agency reported that the messages asked Biden to stop arming the occupying entity and the necessity of US policies being consistent with human rights, international law and self-determination for the Palestinian people.
The messages pointed out that the US administrations’ policies that have continued for decades to appease Israel at the expense of Palestinian rights encouraged the occupation to escape from punishment.
The activists believed that the United States must urgently reconsider its practice of providing weapons to Israel without conditions.
