US financing foreign-backed terrorists in Syria – analyst

The Obama administration has been financing foreign-backed terrorists in Syria for nearly three years, an American political commentator says.

 “The United States has been financing and providing material support for a terrorist war on the Syrian people since early 2011,” said Don DeBar, an anti-war activist and radio host in New York.

However, providing material support for terrorists in Syria has been “completely omitted” from US media coverage and the government’s narrative of the situation, DeBar told Press TV on Sunday.

DeBar said the only way to resolve Syria’s unrest is to hold elections so the people can determine their country’s future government.

US Congress has approved funding for US weapons deliveries to the terrorists fighting against the Syrian people.
