Kanaani stresses the necessity of liberating the United Nations from American and Zionist influence

Tehran-(ST)- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani stressed that those who remain silent in the face of the brutality and ferocity of the Israeli occupation must be “ashamed of themselves,” stressing the need for international community to move quickly to liberate the United Nations from dependence on the United States and the Zionist entity.

The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Kanaani as saying in a post on his social media page: “The barbarism and brutality of the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip continues in front of the eyes of the entire world, and international forums have failed to act after 167 consecutive days of war on Gaza Strip, as they contented themselves with declaring their positions and expressing their opinions.”

Kanaani pointed out that the occupation forces’ siege of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza for the fourth day in a row is one of the painful news that has been circulating these days. He said: Since the beginning of the war on Gaza Strip, about 32,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 74,000 have been injured, while the percentage of martyrs has exceeded Women and children, 72 percent, considering that “history is incapable of recounting this open barbarity and ferocity before the eyes of the international community.”
