Minister of Higher Education, IAEA Director discuss prospects academic and health cooperation

During his meeting today with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Mariano Grossi and the accompanying delegation at Al-Biruni University Hospital, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Bassam Ibrahim discussed prospects of academic and health cooperation and methods of cancer treatment.

Ibrahim reviewed the situation of the educational hospitals and the diagnostic, therapeutic and medical services provided by the Al-Biruni hospital for the citizens, in addition to training students in the College of Medicine for the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

In turn the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency welcomed the cooperation with the ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and educational hospitals and stressed the need to provide them with necessary support in the medical and health field.
