Slovak Foreign Minister: Stability in the Middle East achieved through establishing a Palestinian state
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár stressed that achieving stability in the Middle East region lies in restoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and establishing an independent Palestinian state.
“Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are now in the Gaza Strip on the verge of remaining alive, which cannot be accepted due to the starvation policy practiced by Israel against them” Juraj Blanár added in a statement to the Slovak News Agency on Wednesday.
He stressed that the crucial matter now lies in the necessity of a ceasefire, and the opening of land crossings for aid to reach the Strip.
Slovak foreign minister pointed out that Slovakia decided to provide humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip worth 2.5 million euros.
