Syria, Saudi Arabia stress the need to strengthen joint Arab action to confront common challenges

Syrian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ayman Sousan and Chairman and members of the Saudi-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Saudi Shura Council discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides stressed the important role played by parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in the Parliamentary field.

The situation in the region and the latest developments of the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people were also discussed. The two side affirmed that the Palestinian cause is the core of the conflict, calling for work as to achieve the Palestinian people’s aspirations and restore their legitimate rights.

The two sides also affirmed the need to activate and strengthen joint Arab action to confront the challenges facing the Arab nation.
