No Substitute for Political Solution

Undoubtedly, no one must be surprised about the illogical results of the first round of the Geneva 2 conference. This is due to many objective and political reasons because from the beginning of the crisis in Syria and till this moment, the US is not convinced with the political solution for the crisis in Syria . It seems clearly that the US is working on two contradictory fronts by which it may achieve any progress on the ground that enable it to implement its aggressive policies against Syria .

In fact, the US has no serious intention about the political solution for the crisis in Syria because it brought to the Geneva2 Conference a delegation consisting of a number of agents who are not concerned with what is happening in Syria, they are but tools who obey orders of their masters.

This so-called “opposition” delegation has nothing to do with all what is happening in Syria and it does not care at all about the destruction which is caused by the Wahhabi, Takfiri terrorist groups to the country; on the contrary they help to increase the suffering of the Syrian people.

It is obvious that the US’ main objective of bringing such opposition to the Geneva2 Conference in its first round is but to test the pulse of the Syrian government and its official delegation.

This means that the US is searching for points of weakness, which it ” will never see”, that could enable it to win the coming rounds of the Geneva Conference.

But the important question here is how the US will be convinced of a political solution in Syria while it announces openly that it supports terrorism for three years ago? Of course, the US does its best in destroying Syria, firstly for the interest of the Israeli occupation , and Israel, in its turn  plays its aggressive role in destroying the security in the region as a whole. The occupation authorities offered all possible aid to  the terrorists who are coming from Syria by securing them the field hospitals in the occupied Golan. Israel is the main beneficiary of the war against Syria, this seems clearly through the recent  statement of its Foreign Minister, Lieberman who asserted that Israel aims to obtain a resolution of the international community and the US to annex the Golan Heights to it permanently .

Thus, the so-called coalition opposition’s rejection of the paper that talks about sovereignty and the protection of the borders of Syria, has encouraged Lieberman to demand the annexation of the occupied Golan Heights .

But the victories achieved by the Syrian army in the field by eliminating the terrorist factions on all Syrian territories will force the US and its allies to accept the political solution as being the only way to resolve the crisis in Syria.
