Foreign tourists: Archeological city of Bosra Al-Sham a world historical treasure

Tourists from different European and Asian countries recently visited the Syrian city of Bosra Al-Sham to enjoy seeing its ancient archeological sites.

In statement to SANA, Pablo Matini, an Italian university lecturer, said the beauty of Bosra Al-Sham theatre reminds him of the famous Colosseum, the great amphitheatre of Rome, in term of similar structure which indicates cultural and civilizational communication in old ages.

For her part, Barbra Komen, a Bulgarian tourism expert, said that maintaining the architectural fabric of this old city for thousands of years proves the great cohesion between science and architecture.

Paula Tatshi, a British doctor, called for preserving such amazing treasures through international organizations that are concerned in heritage and in rehabilitating heritage sites.

Kim Yang from China, said the beautiful architecture of Bosra Al-Sham city qualifies it to be on the world tourism map as it is an amazing artistic masterpiece.

Natasha, a Russian citizen, affirmed that her visit to Bosra Al-Sham is one of the most beautiful stations of her life journey. She added that in this city she experienced a great mixture between the past and the present, pointing out that she will coordinate with Russian companies to organize future journeys to all archeological sites in Syria.

Director of Bosra Al-Sham city Council noted that the city is witnessing active tourism movement these days.
