Syrian-Armenian talks on enhancing cultural cooperation
Yerevan (ST) – The Syrian ambassador to Armenia Nora Arisyan discussed with the Armenian Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sports Taniel Tanielyan ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the field of culture.
During the meeting, they discussed signing a memorandum of understanding between Al-Assad National Library and the House of Armenian Manuscripts. The two sides also discussed cooperation with the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet through exchanging experiences and hosting musicians.
Tanielyan pointed to the common cultural and social ties between Syria and Armenia, stressing his country’s interest in cooperating with Syria in the cultural field.
