Shaaban: No talk about real political track, while our country is Ravaged by Terrorism

GENEVA,(ST)_ Political and Media Advisor at the Republic ‘s Presidency Dr. ButheinaShabaan stressed that “no real talk can be made about a political track while terrorism is hitting our country,” pointing out that the Syrian official delegation to Geneva Conference 2 does not mind to reach a common agenda for the talks but with the first item to be fighting against terrorism and the second on the transitional government.

She told reporters that the official delegation deals constructively and positively in an attempt to put an end to the terrorism that kills our people.

What is happening in Syria is part of an Integrated Plan for the entire region

Shaaban emphasized the need to have the will of the regional and international parties to reach an agreement, because what is happening in Syria is part of what is planned for the entire region, as the perpetrators of this scheme were able in certain countries to paralyze the movement of the country through sides loyal to them.

Some Arab countries, Erdogan government finance, arm terrorism

She expressed belief that international parties that support the opposition have realized the threat of terrorism, which is linked in part to some of these countries, have different agenda, regretting that the danger lies mostly on our people and that some countries that call themselves Arab and the government of RecepTayyip Erdogan in Turkey are financing and arming terrorism.

She denied the possibility of the Syrian official delegation and the coalition delegation to join the tripartite meeting between the representatives of Russia, United States and the UN envoy to Syria, LakhdarBrahimi, noting that “the Syrian government has decided to have a dialogue between the Syrians under the auspices of the UN without the intervention of other parties.”
