Media office in Gaza: Occupation’s bombing of Palestinians while trying to get flour is an attempt to exacerbate famine
Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The media office in Gaza affirmed that the Israeli occupation’ bombing and shooting on Palestinians yesterday on Salah al-Din Street in Gaza City while they were trying to get flour and food aid is an attempt to further exacerbate famine, perpetuate the siege, and deepen the humanitarian catastrophe.
The office called on the international community to intervene immediately and implement its relevant decisions to stop the genocide war committed by the occupation against the Palestinians, and to bring in humanitarian aid especially to the northern Gaza.
The office holds the US administration and the international community fully responsible for the aggravation of the humanitarian catastrophe in light of the high number of casualties as a result of hunger, malnutrition, and drought.
The World Health Organization (WHO) warned that Palestinian children are dying of hunger in the hospitals in northern Gaza as a result of the severe shortage of food, fuel and medicine as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.
The office stressed on Sunday that 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza suffer from severe food shortages, where 15 children have died as a result of the disaster so far and this matter threatens the lives of more than 700 thousand Palestinian.
