Kanaani:  Zionist entity, its sponsors seek to undermine security in the region

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed on Monday that the Zionist entity and its sponsors seek to incite conflict and destabilize security and stability in the region, stressing that the United States is responsible  for the continuation of this brutal aggression against Gaza.

 “The second emergency meeting on Palestine of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the level of foreign ministers, due to be held tomorrow in Jeddah, will be an opportunity for decisive action against Israel” , Kanaani said during his weekly press conference.

He pointed out that it will witness effective and decisive action by the countries of the organization to stop Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

“The priority now is to end the war, establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, reopen crossings for humanitarian aid, and prevent the displacement of the people of the Gaza Strip” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman added
