The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced that the Israeli occupation committed 13 massacres in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, which led to 124 martyrs and 210 wounded.

“The number of victims of the ongoing occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 150th day has risen to 30,534 martyrs and 71,920 wounded, while a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, as a result of the occupation preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them” the Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The statement added that the occupation’s attacks on the health sector, since the start of the aggression on October the 7th , resulted in the martyrdom of 364 health personnel and the detention of 369, in addition to the destruction of 155 health institutions, and the removal of 32 hospitals, 53 health centers and 126 ambulances from service.

The ministry noted that the occupation forces destroyed the infrastructure of hospitals in the city of Khan Yunis in the south of Gaza Strip and hospitals in northern Gaza, pointing out that the health situation is extremely catastrophic and cannot be described, and is getting worse and collapsing as a result of the lack of the necessary medical aid.

The Ministry indicated that the occupation deliberately caused a  humanitarian and health catastrophe that contributed to the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases, as one million cases of infectious diseases were recorded for which the necessary medical capabilities to treat them are not available.

The Ministry warned that the Palestinians in north Gaza are struggling with death as a result of famine, the lack of food and the scarcity of drinking water, calling on the United Nations to activate international humanitarian law to protect civilians, institutions and health teams, and to provide means of survival for the people of Gaza Strip to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.
