Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Famine has begun to kill Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Foreign Affair Ministry warned of the risks resulting from spreading the famine and malnutrition, as a result of the Israeli occupation preventing the arrival and entry of aids into the Gaza Strip in general and into its north in particular.

The Foreign Ministry explained in a statement on Sunday, reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that the Israeli enemy is expanding the war of extermination to include the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, and that famine has already begun to claim the lives of Palestinians in the north of the stricken Gaza Strip.

The Foreign Ministry added that despite widespread international warnings about the repercussions of the invasion of the city of Rafah, especially on the lives of more than 1.4 million Palestinians there. The number of martyrs in the city during the last 24 hours reached 26 martyrs, proving that the occupation continues to invade the entire Strip, completely destroy it, and annihilate its people, whether by killing or by starvation, thirst, and deprivation of medicines and treatment.

The Foreign Ministry said: What was warned about earlier has become a reality as it was announced that at least 15 children were killed due to malnutrition and hunger, which continues to threaten more children. In addition, the occupation forces deliberately bomb aid trucks and the Palestinians who are waiting for aid. Most recent crime was the occupation’s shooting at Palestinians who were waiting to receive food aid south of Gaza City.
