Cuba: Israeli war on Gaza Strip must stop

The Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel has stressed the need to stop the Israeli war on Gaza Strip and to put an end to the Israeli occupation’s violations, crimes and massacres against the Palestinian people and the entire humanity.

In a post on X, Canel said his country won’t be indifferent to the crimes taking place in Gaza Strip, and it will join the International Day in Support of the Palestinian People to demand an end to the genocide being implemented by the Israeli occupation in Gaza.

The Cuban President concluded by saying, “Enough brutality, enough abuse, enough impunity”, referring to the Israeli occupation entity’s criminal practices.

Yesterday, the Cuban President called for participating in the rallies that will be organized in all Cuban areas and provinces to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and to condemn the Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinians.

On his part, the Colombian President Gustavo Petro called on the international community to stop the genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip with the support of the United States and the European Union.

In a statement at the Latin America and the Caribbean Summit, Petro said that “Germany, France and the European Union are supporting the genocide in Gaza, and Britain and the United States are supporting dropping bombs on defenseless civilians”, reiterating that the Israeli occupation is repeating the same practices of Nazism in Europe in the period between 1939 and 1945.
