Cuba reiterated its strong condemnation of the genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation entity in the Gaza Strip, its imposition of hunger on the Palestinian people and its prevention of the entry of humanitarian and food aid into the Strip.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said via the X-platform: “Seven Palestinian children have died of malnutrition in Gaza in just 24 hours, while Israeli shelling continues against civilians, as humanitarian aid is being blocked, exacerbating health conditions… For our part, we reiterate our rejection of the genocide against the Palestinian people and call for peace”.
Cuba’s President Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez called for taking part in tomorrow’s rallies in all Cuban regions and provinces, to express solidarity and stand with the Palestinian people, and to condemn the Israeli war and genocide against the Palestinians.
“Cuba joins the global mobilization on the second of March to support Palestine, and we will take to the streets in all provinces and in the capital Havana, in solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and to condemn the Holocaust that Israel is working to create in Rafah, all for Gaza, Long live a free Palestine,” the Cuban president wrote on his account on the X platform.
