Zasypkin: The American occupation forces should withdraw from Syrian territory

The Russian former ambassador to Yemen and Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin has stressed the necessity of the withdrawal of the American occupation forces from the Syrian territories they occupy, as they provide cover for terrorists who are active in those areas.

In an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow on Wednesday, Zasypkin called for an end to the American and Israeli aggressive actions against Syria.

For his part, in a similar interview, Georgi Lukyanov, a researcher at the Russian Oriental Institute, said: It is clear that the Syrian people will continue to resist as long as the American occupation continues to plunder their natural resources.
