Soussan, Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council discuss strengthening Syrian-Saudi relations

The Syrian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ayman Soussan and Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Sheikh during a meeting on Tuesday in Riyadh ways to strengthen the Syrian-Saudi relations.

The two sides talked about the historical relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them.

Al-Sheikh expressed his satisfaction over the development of bilateral relations and stressed the need to enhance contacts between the parliaments of the two countries.

Soussan, for his part, noted the importance of working to develop fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries given the historical relations between them to serve the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, and contribute to fortifying the Arab situation, particularly in light of the challenges facing the Arab nation.

The Syrian ambassador asserted that the parliamentary relations between the two countries must be strengthened due to the role of parliamentary diplomacy in boosting bilateral ties.
