Five truffle collectors martyred in a terrorist attack in the eastern countryside of Homs

Five citizens were martyred in a terrorist attack that targeted them while they were collecting truffles in Jubb Al-Jarrah area in the eastern countryside of Homs.

“A number of terrorists riding motorcycles opened fire on five citizens while they were collecting truffles in the Jubb al-Jarrah area in the eastern countryside of Homs, killing them immediatly,” a source at Homs Police Command said.

Terrorists affiliated to ISIS terrorist organization spread in rugged areas deep in the Syrian Desert. They carry out repeated attacks on citizens and residential communities on the outskirts of the desert, especially during the truffle collecting season. These attacks lead to the martyrdom and the wounding of scores of citizens.
