Non-Aligned Movement renews its condemnation of the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people

The Non-Aligned Movement has renewed its condemnation of the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza Strip.

On behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement , Iran’s Ambassador and Assistant Representative to the United Nations, Zahraa Ershadi, said during the meeting of the Special Committee on the Charter of the United Nations  “The Non-Aligned Movement affirms the demand for an immediate ceasefire and support for the Palestinian people,”

She added that she is deeply concerned about the warnings of the United Nations special rapporteurs regarding the open genocide in Gaza Strip and calls for the commitment of the international community to prevent this genocide and take all necessary measures to put an end to it.

The Iranian ambassador stressed the importance of the request submitted by the United Nations General Assembly regarding the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice regarding the legal repercussions and obligations resulting from the continuation of illegal policies and procedures, the prolongation of the Zionist entity’s occupation of Palestine, the deprivation of the Palestinian people of the right to self-determination as well as the discriminatory measures against them.
