Indian Foreign Minister: “Israel” is obligated to respect international law

Munich-(ST)- Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar stressed that the Israeli occupation entity is obligated to respect international humanitarian law.

Jaishankar said in a statement on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, as RT reported: “India maintains its position calling for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state as a solution to the Palestinian issue,” pointing out that many countries now consider this solution not only necessary but more urgent than before.

The Indian Minister stressed the need to establish a sustainable humanitarian corridor to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip, noting the necessity of working also to complete the prisoner exchange process between the Palestinian resistance and “Israel.”

Israeli forces continue their indiscriminate bombardment of the areas and territories of Gaza Strip, especially Rafah and Khan Yunis, causing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
