Ministers of Interior of Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon met in the Jordanian Capital, Amman, to discuss joint efforts to combat drugs.
The meeting between Syria’s Minister of Interior Muhammad Al-Rahmoun, his Jordanian counterpart Mazen Al-Frayeh, his Iraqi counterpart Abdul Amir Al-Shummari and Lebanese counterpart Bassam Mawlawi focused on ways to consolidate cooperation to face common challenges facing the region, mainly combating drugs which pose a threat to the safety of societies.
Ways to enhance security cooperation were also discussed in a way that achieves the higher national interests of the region’s countries.
