Abdollahian stresses need to take action to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stressed the need for action by the international community, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to stop the Israeli entity’s aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Abdollahian said during a phone call today with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha: The humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating in addition to the severe problems and shortage resulting from access to facilities and basic life necessities for the population, stressing the need to take appropriate and urgent measures to facilitate the delivery of aid and humanitarian shipments, especially food, medical supplies and medicines to the Palestinians in the Strip.
Abdollahian expressed his strong condemnation of the recent attacks and aggression of the Israeli entity against Rafah, which led to the martyrdom of many people, especially innocent Palestinian women and children.
Abdollahian called for an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in order to review the current situation and take decisive measures against the aggression.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Organization expressed his condemnation of the continued Israeli aggression, welcoming the proposal to hold an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers and discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian arena with member states.
