Oman, (ST) – With the participation of Syria, the Postal Leaders Forum 2024 kicked off on Tuesday in the Omani capital, Muscat.
The forum, attended by 60 participants from 18 Arab countries, will continue until tomorrow. It aims to discuss exchanging experiences related to digital transformation at the global level to enrich postal institutions in the Arab region, in addition to bringing together effective parties in the postal sector in the region.
The forum is due also to discuss digital transformation and innovation in Arab postal institutions through several axes, the most important of which are the digital economy, the postal sector, e-commerce, and the driving force behind digital transformation in this sector, in addition to the infrastructure for digital services and how to properly secure the postal infrastructure for digital transformation.
Syria participates in the forum through the Syrian Post Establishment, represented by its General Director Hayyan Maqsoud.
