Syria’s Al Thawra Club basketball team ranked second in the Arab Women Sports Tournament after losing to Al-Fuhais of Jordan with a score of 50-72 points in the final match.
The Al-Thawra team opened its matches in the tournament by defeating Al-Sharjah of the Emirates by 78-47 points and in its second match it won over Al-Fatat of Kuwait with a score of 80-77 points.
It also defeated the Saudi Al-Asimah team by 78-58 points, defeated the Iraqi Gaz Al-Shamal team by 77-58 points, and lost one match in the first round against the Jordanian Al-Fuhais by 42-76 points.
