Suffering of the people of the city of Al-Hasakah continues as a result of the Turkish occupation’s attacks
For the fourth month in a row, the suffering of the people of the city of Hasakah and the western countryside in securing drinking water continues as a result of the Turkish occupation aggression that targeted the electrical power carriers operating the Alouk Water Station several months ago which put it out of service.
“The people’s suffering to secure their drinking water needs continues, as a result of the Alouk station, their only source of water, stop working since the third of last October, due to the Turkish army’s targeting it several months ago, which put it out of service”. The director of the Water Establishment Muhammad Othman said in a statement to SANA reporter.
Othman pointed out that the water corporation is continuing its efforts to secure the minimum amount of drinking water for the people in cooperation with some partners of humanitarian organizations, pointing out that yesterday, the Foundation received a quantity of fuel provided by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to continue operating water desalination plants during the coming period.
